Visual Art Portfolio
For as long as I can remember, I’ve identified with the word “artist”. While my technique improves the more I create, I have always loved drawing, painting, and creating. Costume design has given me an outlet to express my love of visual art, fashion, theatre, and individuality.
Using acrylic paint as my medium of choice, I’ve created various works that reflect my aesthetic and inspiration. While many focus on topics or subjects that catch my eye, some are more simple and serene. I love to create art that encourages deep thought, because art is meant to make the viewer feel something more than just something pretty to look at.

While in my undergraduate, I took a Figure Drawing class to get more familiar with the way clothes drape on a form as well as understanding different forms and anatomies. Taking a figure drawing class not only informed my designs, but also my own art.
